Entry Level:

Our forensic clients’ requirements at the most junior level are for qualified Chartered Accountants who demonstrate excellent technical ability, confident interpersonal credibility and who more generally meet the firm’s required level of consulting and organisational competencies.

Characteristically forensic accountants are also expected to demonstrate an innate curiosity and strong verbal, numerical and analytical skills.

The successful entry level applicants tend to come from a background that has required them to exercise their accountancy knowledge in the analysis and interpretation of financial statements and other data. As such, successful candidates can often come from a variety of career paths including statutory audit, transaction services or insolvency.

It is seen as particularly advantageous for entry level candidates to be adept at excel modelling or have had some exposure to the use of forensic technology and data analysis software.

Experienced Hires:

In addition to expectations placed on entry level candidates, the more experienced forensic accountants will meet the more senior level management, organisation and marketing competencies and on the technical side be expected to have proficiency in investigating or analysing the quantum relating to scenarios such as:
